So, with this first blog I want to start with the most famous challenge currently all over the world mostly among the Gen-Z. Before we get into the yes/no/why/how & benefits, of this challenge we need to first know that there are actually 2 variants of this 75 Days Challenge : The first being the Hard version & second being the Soft version. So, below I have mentioned the details of both these challenges that I got from this website -
The 75 Day Soft Challenge is made up of four rules, and it is a more realistic alternative to the viral 75 Hard Challenge. The rules are:
Eat well and incorporate more nutritious foods into your diet, and only drink on social occasions.
Train for 45 minutes everyday for 75 days. One workout a week should be active recovery.
Drink three litres of water a day.
Read ten pages of any book per day.
The 75 Hard Challenge rules are:
Stick to a diet of your choice – no alcohol and no ‘cheat meals’.
Do two 45-minute workouts a day with one of them being outside.
Drink 4.5 litres of water every day.
Read ten pages of a self-development non-fiction book every day.
Take a progress picture of your body every day.
The rules of the 75 Hard Challenge also state that if you break one of these rules you will need to start the entire challenge again, while the 75 Soft Challenge has no such stipulation.
Now. the first question that comes to my mind and maybe even come over to yours is why ? why ? & why? at all this challenge is getting so much craze among all the growing Insta Gen-Z. The simple answer that I understand is that people want to see a 2.0 version of themselves because everyone who is starting this knows very well that whatever he/she is presently doing is not the best that they can do or we can say that people have potential in them which they think is not yet explored and if they did give a shot at exploring, it can lead to bombastic results be it in the form of a very well transformed individual like losing hell lot of weight to get fit or be it in the form of grasping an altogether new lifestyle that is loved by the society.
If we see at the bigger perspective, then yes people did achieve great results with this Hard Challenge, but the thing is that all might not be able to do this as it is. Meaning thereby that, everybody is not same , obviously everyone has his/her own personal choices and decisions to make and lastly some may not be in a situation to follow this. Like some may have exams (like I do 😃) and that person may like to perform this as per his/her own customisations and I feel that is even too good, considering the benefits that the person can reap off from this challenge - consistency, habitual behaviour, determination, never miss attitude etc etc…..
So, to end with this I wanna say that YES, we can follow and infact we should follow this challenge once in our lifetime for sure as it can make you understand the real power within you and can make you test your capability & consistency at its best. Also, in the upcoming days I am planning to start this challenge which I think will be according to my own customizations and will soon start sharing the learnings that I get by following the same.
